Terms of Use — IL Safety Academy

IL Safety Academy is a digital platform for managing employee safety trainings. The platform allows employees to take structured trainings, sit a comprehension exam, sign a declaration of training receipt and receive a completion certificate. All data is retained for safety-officer documentation and compliance with the organisation's requirements.

As a condition of starting a training, the employee is required to enter their personal details accurately: first name, last name, employee number / national ID, company and role. These details are used to issue the completion certificate and to retain the evidence record. Entering incorrect, false or another person's details constitutes a breach of these terms of use.

The completion certificate is issued automatically after all training stages are completed and the comprehension exam is passed with a passing score, in accordance with the requirements set by the training administrator. A certificate is issued only to an employee who has completed the training in full with all of its stages, including viewing the content, answering questions, signing digitally and meeting the score requirement.

The platform is intended for general safety trainings and knowledge refreshers. It does not replace specialised certifications, in-person training, licences or credentials that are required by law and that require a qualified instructor to be present. The training administrator at the organisation is responsible for defining the scope of each training and for ensuring compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements.

Actions intended to bypass, falsify or impair the training mechanisms are prohibited, including:

• attempting to skip training stages or the exam
• entering another person's details
• sharing a personal training link with others
• attempting to retake a completed and locked training in order to obtain a duplicate certificate
• any use intended to mislead the system or the organisation

A breach of these provisions may result in the training record being cancelled and the matter being handled by the organisation.

IL Safety Academy is a digital platform for managing, delivering, running and documenting safety trainings. The platform assists in managing the training process, retaining documentation, running comprehension exams, capturing digital signatures and issuing certificates, but it does not replace the responsibility of the organisation, the employer, the training administrator or the safety officer for selecting appropriate trainings, matching content to actual risks, updating content in line with changes at the workplace, and complying with the legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the organisation.

Where the law requires specialised training, certification, a licence, a qualified instructor, in-person training or any other condition, responsibility for ensuring that requirement is met rests with the organisation or with the professional on whose behalf the platform is used.

The service is provided As Is and subject to its availability. The platform operator shall not be liable for indirect, consequential or special damage, including loss of data, business loss, damage to reputation, mistaken reliance on content, unauthorised use, entry of incorrect details or use inconsistent with the platform's purpose, subject to the provisions of any applicable law.

All rights in the platform, including code, design, system structure, user interfaces, training templates, certificate structure, forms, trademarks, texts, graphics, logos, software components and content developed by or for IL Safety Academy, belong to the platform operator or to whoever granted it a licence to use them.

The platform and its content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold, published, made available to the public, reverse-engineered, used to create a derivative work, or used commercially in any way without the platform operator's prior written approval.

Content, images, procedures, logos, employee data or organisational information provided by a customer for the purpose of building a training remain the customer's property or under the customer's responsibility, as applicable, and are used solely for the purpose of delivering the service and in accordance with the agreements with the customer.

IL Safety Academy reserves the right to update these terms of use at any time. The current version is always published on this page with the date it was last updated. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
